Rain doesn’t stop Outdoor Play (Pt1)!

Rain doesn’t stop play at Shiremoor Adventure Playground in North Tyneside. Apparently she had holes in  her wellies, but she prefers getting her feet wet to ‘missing out on all the fun!’

To follow more of the fun at Shiremoor, where kids are exploring nature more and more every day, then follow Janet Orrock, Play England’s Nature Play Worker, on Facebook.

To find out more about the growing movement to increase children’s outdoor time, check out the ‘Really Wild’ blog from a few days ago.

And do make sure you’ve signed the Project Wildthing pledge!

There will be some more photos up soon… If you’d like to show your autumnal outdoor play then do let us know.

And if you fancy splashing in some mud this weekend, take a look on our Play Map to find somewhere near you – or upload your favourite place to play outside!
