The Love Outdoor Play campaign is calling on everyone to do something to make sure that more children can play out more often. This could be as simple as taking your child to the local playground or supervised play project, letting them play in the garden or outside your front door. You could help out at your local play project or spread the Love Outdoor Play word on Facebook and Twitter.

Evergreen Adventure Playground, London

The campaign is led by Play England and supported by the Free Time Consortium. If your organisation is passionate about play, contact us and find out how you can get involved.

About Play England

Play England campaigns for all children to have the freedom and space to play throughout childhood. As the national organisation for children’s play, Play England works with all those who have an impact on children’s lives to support and champion play as an essential part of childhood.

About the Free Time Consortium

The Free Time Consortium (FTC) is a growing collective of local and specialist organisations working together to increase freedom to play. The Consortium is founded on the principle of sharing information and resources to support more children to play more often. Through promoting good practice, and joint fundraising local Play Associations, forums, networks and national specialist organisations aim to make sure that all children in England have the time, space and opportunity to play throughout their daily lives.
